Yakuza 4 Slated for Spring 2011 North American Release

Yakuza 4
Yakuza 4 has been confirmed to be reaching the western market next spring as an exclusive PlayStation 3 release.
At first, this was just a mere hope of the fans to see the game make the transition into our market. However, impressive sales figures from Yakuza 3 actually pushed Sega to say that a translation from Japanese to English would definitely be worth it.
You may have been hearing cries for Yakuza 4 in the news for a while. That is because this is actually one of the few good brawling games available on the PlayStation 3. It does a great job of producing an action packed experience along with a dramatic storyline. Although some complaints include the overdone dialogue and the cut content, there are a lot of positives to this game as well.
The graphics are modern, which is a plus to say the least. The voice acting in the game is actually very attractive. In the sense that you do not often hear voice actors go to the depths that ones such as these to evoke emotion. You often get the feeling that the actors are screaming at the top of their lungs, to the point of turning red, when listening to them do their job. This is by all means a positive thing, it makes Yakuza 4 that much more alluring to the average gamer.
Yakuza 4 is also quite a novice friendly game as well. You do not need to practice and practice for hours to be able to enjoy yourself. You can hop directly into the game, and completely immerse yourself in the world. All it takes is a few well timed punches (button mashing) and a taste for the storyline presented to you.
Yakuza 4 is slated for a Spring 2011 release, although it is already available in Japan. Visit the Sega Europe Blog for a chance to question the series producer.
