The upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 downloadable content from Valve will add more replay value to the game than one may have once believed. “The Passing”, one of the new downloadable campaign, hints toward new game modes.
Valve has been making some blatant advertising that hinted towards the announcement of a Mac version of the Steam service which will be coming in April. Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal and the Half-Life series will also be seeing a release on Mac as well.
Apparently Final Fantasy XIV is expected to give World of Warcraft a run for its money. Square Enix seems to have high expectations of this game, though I think Blizzard is unaffected by the challenge.
Battlefield Heroes is an online shooter by EA, a light hearted addition to the franchise, that has had a fairly positive fan reaction. That is, until their recent decision for the game that will possibly alienate half of their fanbase.
