The Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Ending Impressions

The whole Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign playthrough has been leaked on the internet, and the videos are available to watch the whole epic story unfold. The ending, I must say, is one of the best endings I have ever seen in a game, and I am warning you right now, there are spoilers to be seen in this post.
So, since i have not played through the game yet, nor have I watched the whole play through, it appears as if one of your team mates turns out to be a traitor. His name is Shepherd, and it turns out that he’ll kill Roach and Ghost. So at the start of the last level, you get an awe inspiring speech by Price. He says how history is written by the victor, so if you and him die, then Shepherd will merely spread lies to make himself the hero. Which brings me to the point, the voice acting in this game is nothing short of amazing. You can really get a sense of the mood while hearing the speech given by Price.
I am not going to get into every single detail about the level, simply because it is something that you should definitely look forward to playing on your own. But I will say some of the menial details, such as you being on a boat race. You are in pursuit of Shepherd, and you the helicopter he is in crashes, and you are launched off of a water fall. You come out, groggy and a bit shaken up, as you take out your knife and pick off the injured enemies. I will keep the rest secret, because I really feel as if it is that good, and well worth watching or playing through yourself. I will most likely enjoy every minute of this game.
Infinity Ward really stepped up the standards for all future first person shooter games to come. Especially pushing up what is to be expected of by Treyarch with their next game. With the announcement of a Modern Warfare 2 third person playlist for Xbox Live.Call of Duty: World at War was a complete rip of Call of Duty 4, and showed poor effort on their part to be honest. They did nothing to push the envelope, and the game was shunned by many of the fans of the series. To be honest, Infinity Ward out classes and out skills Treyarch in pretty much ever department of game development imaginable. Judging by what was shown in the leaked campaign mode playthrough, you most likely will be playing this game for years to come, until Infinity Ward releases their next game.
I honestly was not that excited for the game at first, but it really seems that Modern Warfare 2 will easily become game of the year this time around. It has an amazing story line and progression, features, great online play, and improved graphics and animation. The campaign ending also makes it clear that there will indeed be a Modern Warfare 3.
