Tekken 6 Becoming More Varied

Tekken 6
Well, I do not know if Tekken 6 has always been known for its variety in characters or fighting combinations, but from what I have seen online, people are breaking away from the popular characters and looking to shine in other departments.
When I first played Tekken 6, and I believe my first impressions have been written on Sleepy Gamers, I complained about the cheap fighting tactics over Xbox Live. You will find people who will sit back and “turtle” in order to lure you into attack, block all of your attacks, then catch you in a recycled “rinse and repeat” combo. That, or they will just spam random attacks on you that are difficult to dodge, believing that they will win with that.
But now that I actually have taken the time to try and pick up a character, and learn their combinations, you will find that many of these cheap fighters online are not much of a challenge. After looking at the official strategy guide, I looked up some good attack combinations, hopped on Xbox Live, and I began taking people out with Eddy. He is one of the most annoying people to fight online, because he fights by utilizing random and often low attacks. So it takes a while for people to become accustomed to fighting him.
All in all, I can say that I was too quick to judge Tekken 6. It is a good fighting game, as long as you make sure you pick up a character that you believe would be fun to use, and actually take the time to learn their combos.
