Activision and Microsoft are enjoying the large success of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package map pack, announcing that the new downloadable content has just shattered Xbox LIVE records, amounting over 2.5 million sold.

The Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package caused a major upset for its hefty $15 price for five maps (two of which are returns from Call of Duty 4) and the fact that the launch was broken.
