Sony has been stressing the genesis of 3D gaming, with some of the PlayStation 3 games being made available starting tomorrow.

Killzone 3 has officially been announced, with the added incentive of full 3D support.

More to the point, Sony’s marketing officer claims that hardcore gamers actually look down upon the Nintendo motion controller, and that is why the PlayStation Move will come and take over the motion control scene, to make it more appealing to the modern gamer.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Sony will be releasing a new smart phone with the ability of downloading and playing PlayStation video games.

The Sony PlayStation 3 originally had support for backwards compatibility, allowing for the purchaser to acquire PlayStation 2 games and play it on their new console. However, since then, that feature (or luxury, rather) has been removed, much to the confusion of many video gamers.
