Square Enix Starts Final Fantasy XIV PC Beta Applications

Final Fantasy XIV
Square Enix has now begun the application process for the latest installment into the popular franchise, Final Fantasy XIV, appearing both on the PC and PlayStation 3 as a massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
This news makes it seem more likely for FFXIV to be released in 2010, just next year, and hopefully at a timely date. So if you are interested in beta testing the PC version, you should sign up now. For those of you wanting this opportunity for the PlayStation 3 version, you will have to wait until a later date.
To apply, you should be at least 18 years old and have a Square Enix ID account, or you can sign up for one, and you can only try to apply once. Try not to cheat the system.
This would only make next year even more worth looking forward to, with this game now on the launch pad for the upcoming months. Being released as an mmorpg on a video game console is a major thing, as long as the subscription prices are not too steep. I am actually getting a PS3 almost exclusively for the Final Fantasy games that will be coming out, and partially for a few other titles. Keep your eyes peeled for the Final Fantasy XIV PC Beta that will be starting some time soon.
