Sonic 3 via Xbox Live Arcade

Sonic 3 is a game that I definitely recommend that you buy from the Xbox Live Arcade. One of Sega’s precious releases back in the days when Sonic video games weer actually good, this would be a great buy for those of you who are apart of the older gaming generation.
The game is touched up with better graphics to fit some of the Higher definition televisions out there. When you press start, you are given the ability to add “smoothing” to the graphics, which will make the game look smoother, obviously, at the expense of losing some detail. You also have the option to shrink or stretch the screen to fit the dimensions of your TV, which is great for those of you who have a widescreen TV.
Sonic 3 plays exactly how it used to in the past. The graphics and music are of the older generations, which can instill feelings of nostalgia in some. Although this game is pretty old, it can still be a bit of a challenging platformer for those of you who are into that genre of video games. The music is some of the classic Sonic music that many of us have grown to know and love, and the classic gameplay is enough to warrant a purchase.
In my opinion, the whole Sonic franchise is worth purchasing over Xbox Live Arcade, because those were the games made in the series during the glory days. These games were high quality and actually fitted the style of gameplay to the exact detail. If not worth purchasing because you are a fan of the series, it is definitely worth purchasing it to see how Sonic was meant to be played. Sonic 3 is possibly one of the best games available over Xbox Live, and I recommend a purchase.
