Ruins of War is one of the latest Risk Your Life hybrids, and possibly the best one yet. Having just opened earlier this month, it is constantly improving as each day passes.
Ruins of War is a European Return of Warrior server that is actually more interesting than the American born counterpart. For those of you who do not know what the common strong parts of an RYL mmorpg, it is actually quite clear. Many play this video game for the sake of the player versus player content that is made available.
The player versus player portion of this game shines so greatly simply because the game is almost solely focused around its competitive content. For the first bunch of levels, you will be simply be leveling with your own nation. The leveling curve is very smooth, you will find that getting to higher levels is not so difficult. Even when you may feel that the curve becomes a bit difficult, you can simply begin doing quests, with the over 400 quests available in this game.
But one of the exciting things about this game, is that when you get to around level 50, you will be self sufficient enough to enter the third map and begin leveling. The third map is exciting for the fact that both nations will reside on that map. So whenever you encounter a member of the opposing nation, you will perceive them as an enemy, and you can actually attack and defeat them in battle if you feel like it. This feeling of being able to encounter a potential human during battle, randomly, is quite exciting at times.
Ruins of War has the features of a very strong mmorpg. There are epic nation wars, guild wars, weapon building, random large scale battles during regular leveling between nations, and more.
