Ruins of War

Ruins of War is the latest entry into the Risk Your Life (RYL) series, and is a combination of the previous three games, RYL 1, RYL 2 and Return of Warrior.

Supposedly, this is a combination of the previous three game with subtle changes in the features. One of the major changes is that now there is a stat system, which may take some getting used to. I know when I used to play Return of Warrior, everyone had to luxury of having no stat limits on the equipment that you acquire. This is certainly a feature that I miss, because at level 32 I was wearing equipment fit for a level 70+ player.

It is more of what you would expect from this game. It is an massively multiplayer online role playing game, and it is well known for its player versus player features. This game might not be on par with World of Warcraft, but it is certainly more than capable when it comes to the combat system. The combat system is very interesting,f or the fact that you have the option to move around and side step using WSAD keys. Not only that, but there is a multi-level skill system that you will progress through, and as you do, the scope, area of effect, and graphical appearance of it. Seeing a human sorcerer cast a large fire storm to kill a group of Akhans is a pretty interesting sight, to say the least.

The leveling curve, I can not comment on yet . The leveling curve that was in RoW was horrid after level 30. You require a large amount of experience and hours of grinding to level after that, which may be annoying for those of you who have little time to play the game.  Such as I. But a fix to this problem is the item shop, which actually sells you a gold box, where you will have 50% increased experience.

Ruins of War is definitely one of the best free mmorpgs available on the market today, and it is free to play with cash shop. It is the best pvp game I have ever played and is worth playing. Ruins of War has just been released today, so start the game while it is new.
