Resident Evil 6 Announcement Coming Soon

Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6 has been shrouded in a bit of mystery for quite a while now. Capcom has made it known that this game will be a reboot of the series and will be headed by a new video game designer. However, further hope has been given to those aching for further news on this upcoming sequel, in the form of an announcement of an upcoming announcement.
Capcom’s Keiji Inafune said that Capcom wants to release Resident Evil 6 on the market as soon as possible and that news of Resident Evil 6 will be coming shortly.
There is not much known about Resident Evil 6, but the direction this game is taking is fairly clear. A couple of months ago, Jun Takeuchi, the game’s producer, made it clear that this sequel will see a reboot for the series. This comes to the satisfaction of thousands of fans of the series, due to the fact that many fans are against the “plague enemies” and want true zombies.
Along with a change in direction, RE5 producer Jun Takeuchi stated that it did not seem likely that he, or his fellow coworker, Masachika Kawata, would be in charge of the upcoming Resident Evil. When Kotaku talked to Takeuchi at Tokyo Game Show, he said that Capcom has not decided on the producer for the upcoming sequel. He then went on to confirm that he would not be involved with RE6 in a later interview and that he would now be free to do a number of things that he wanted to do.
Before jumping to conclusions, this does not mean he is working on another game, but he is working on a number of things he would like to do that is related to Capcom as a whole. Things that most likely relate to him bettering his name in the industry and holding more weight in this titan of a company.
Keep an eye out for a Resident Evil 6 announcement to come soon.
