Red Dead Redemption Getting Free Co-Op Mission Pack

Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead Redemption is shaping up to become game of the year, and Rockstar Games is set to release a free cooperative multiplayer mission pack on both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network for free in this upcoming June.
Rockstar Games says that this pack will add a co-op mode and a new experience to behold in Red Dead Redemption’s game play.
The multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption will offer a new way to explore and experience the massive open world that was created for us. The experience was thought to be incomplete without the co-op gameplay, which many video gamers are willing to accept and agree with as well. What fun is a massive world if you are only able to explore it on your own.
There are three packs that are planned to be released for Red Dead Redemption, with this pack being the first. There is six new multiplayer missions that allow for two to four players to play at once, with added multiplayer experience point rewards and new achievements and trophies to be acquired. Three of the six missions include:
The mission called “Walton’s Gold”. The premise of this mission is that Walton’s Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold, and you are tasked with loading your mine cart with as much gold as possible and escaping with your life and your gold. One thing, Walton’s gang has the place rigged with explosives, so you are timed.
The mission called “The River” has you riding a raft down the river. You take out rebel encampments along the way until you reach the rebel strong hold in Nosalida and you battle control over the town’s weapon cache. There are machine guns pointed straight towards you and hordes of enemies willing to give their lives to prevent you from achieving your goal.
The mission called “Ammunition” has a Mexican Army in the town of Tesoro Azul. You have to storm the gates and destroy the Mexican artillery.
This game is easily shaping up to be one of the best games to be released this generation, and will most likely receive support from Rockstar Games for years to come. Red Dead Redemption will have three more downloadable packs to come.
