Prince of Persia 3D HD Trilogy Announced, Priced and Dated for Europe

Ubisoft has confirmed the existance of the Prince of Persia HD Trilogy 3D, headed for the PlayStation 3. This trilogy will include all three PS2 games on one Blu-ray disc and will only be made available in Europe.
The three games included are Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. These games will be receive a graphical boost to in order for it to look pretty on the PS3. However, the visual improvement is very little, judging by the screens given. There is only so much you can do to spruce up a last generation game, anyway.
According to Ubisoft, this Prince of Persia bundle will run in 720p resolution, have upgraded textures, normal maps, anti-aliasing and an option for stereoscopic 3D.
Just a warning; just because 3D support has been added does not mean you should purchase the game solely for that experience. It is a last generation game. This re-release mostly caters to the die hard fans of the series, or those who simply want to experience one of the prized platformers of the PlayStation 2. A great gesture by Ubisoft, assuming the fans can stomach the dated graphics.
The Prince of Persia 3D HD Trilogy is slated for European release on November 19th, going at a price of £29.99.
