OnLive Wi-Fi Beta and Promotions

Onlive, the popular cloud computing gaming platform, is preparing a batch of new promotions for this Labor Day weekend in order to boost user activity. All of its games will be available at 50% of and the company will extend the Founding Members program to the end of the year, which offers a free first year and optional second year for five dollars.
OnLive has finally announced that a beta program for Wi-Fi connectivity to the service will begin soon. As of now, users have been required to have a direct connection to the internet in order to be able to make use of the service, which has been quite the turn off to many. One of the most anticipated and treasured features that this service boasts is the ability to play high class games, such as Crysis, on a sub-par system like a netbook. The press release did not mention an exact date for this desired new feature, but it is coming out sometime this month.
OnLive will have a booth at PAX this weekend, showing off the upcoming Wi-Fi feature as well as what is to come of the service. Those who wish to see the video game streaming themselves at booth number 3446.
