Modern Warfare 2 Infamy Impressions
Infinity Ward has recently released their latest Modern Warfare 2 video, titled Modern Warfare 2 Infamy. It shows off a lot of what the campaign mode, of this latest installment of the Call of Duty franchise, will have to offer you. Here are my Modern Warfare 2 Infamy Impressions.
The starts off with some great narration along with some impressing graphics and animation. The animation looks to run at a stunning frame rate, which is also a better addition to the game. You can also immediately see that Infinity Ward is not going easy with the Modern Warfare 2 story line. This is a great thing, because now a days developers tend to focus solely on multiplayer and leave you with a thin single player experience. Modern Warfare 2 is going to do a great thing and create a robust single player experience that will certainly leave you content after beating it. Probably as well or even better than the Call of Duty 4 campaign, which many called to be one of the best story lines of the year when released. Especially since the first main characters death, and the games ending. It did a very good job captivating the gamer, and Modern Warfare 2, seeing as how Infinity Ward is improving the game in every way, will most likely offer campaign mode to rival that.
Another thing I noticed during the Modern Warfare 2 Infamy video is that the vehicular levels have made a comeback. As seen way back when Infinity Ward first released their snowmobile level, showing you riding on back shooting enemies while being driven around. Well, in this video, they now show you in a boat with a mini uzi spraying at enemies while it seemingly looks like you are trying to make an escape. Not only that, but there is a part of the game in which someone does a stealth take-down of an enemy. That could be a hint towards the possibility of you being able to do the same during campaign mode.
The video ends with clips of an epic looking level that looks to be quite intense. Fighting outside of a building that looks similar to the White House, though it may not be it. The war torn environments and intricate details placed into the building of these levels are simply astonishing. It will definitely be a contender for the game of the year, though Modern Warfare 2 will have quite a lot of competition. Those were my Modern Warfare 2 Infamy Impressions, and most likely there will be more impressions to come as Infinity Ward releases many more videos.
