MAG Additional Character Slot Subscription

MAG

MAG

MAG players are now able to add up to two extra characters to their roster for a subscription fee.

On the MAG blog, Zipper Interactive announced that an additional character slot can be purchased for $0.99. You can purchase up to two additional slots.

The extra characters will last 30 days, after which they will become unavailable until the subscription is renewed. Additional characters that are not renewed will be stored in MAG’s server until the subscription is reactivated. This allows players to be able to haveĀ  characters for Raven, SVER and Valor at the same time. A fairly useful feature, but is it actually worth paying for?

Gamers seem fed up with MAG, actually. I cannot really see how money will be made from this new “incentive” to play the game. Many players are claiming that this game is horrible and a failure as a multiplayer only title. One player recounted how he tried playing two months ago and there were barely 1200 people online, which is quite the issue when you need 256 for a match.

For a game that boasted of its revolutionary “256″ player matches, it seems like it is having quite the issue with actually filling up that quota, unsurprisingly. MAG was a step in the right direction, making a war game that actually features large scale war. However, the game was just not good enough to handle such a task. I, personally, do not recommend you actually purchase these $1 subscriber-based characters for MAG.
