Left 4 Dead 2 “The Passing” New Campaign and Game Modes

The upcoming Left 4 Dead 2 downloadable content from Valve will add more replay value to the game than one may have once believed. “The Passing”, one of the new downloadable campaign, hints toward new game modes.
The Passing’s features include more than one new game mode, although unspecified. It also includes new weapons, new the fallen survivor infected, cameo appearance of some of the original Left 4 Dead survivors and more. The new gameplay modes, however, are not specified by Valve, although they are said to add on to the Survival, Scavenge and Versus modes.This information was discovered at the bottom of an announcement about a deal on the retail Left 4 Dead 2 going for just $24.99 USD on Steam and $33.99 USD for the Xbox 360 on Amazon.
The Passing is planned for a spring release, but at X10, Valve announced they were hoping for a late March release, although it is starting to seem unlikely.
