Halo: Reach Multiplayer Rank Cap To Be Raised in November
Bungie has announced that they will be upping the multiplayer rank cap for Halo: Reach. It is currently limited to Lieutenant Colonel Grace C, which will be raised once the gamers complete 117 million daily and weekly challenges.
While that may be a depressingly large number for some of you fans, keep in mind that the Halo: Reach fan-base is huge. Bungie expects this goal to be met around November. There will be a live meter put on the Bungie.net website which will raise as the community gets closer and closer to reaching this goal. Once this goal is reached, new ranks, caps and armor will be made available to everyone who meets the prerequisites.
Bungie is doing this to promote activity on their game. Requiring the community to complete challenges in order to unlock content this content for everyone.
If you are a Lieutenant Colonel Grace C already, all the experience you are earning right now will transition once the cap is raised. So the experience you are gaining now, at the max level, will allow you to gain levels after the cap is raised.
