Gears of War 3 Announced

Gears of War 3 is expected to be announced on the 8th of April on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Cliff Bleszinski, the director behind Gears of War, is expected to make the appearance to speak with the show host, according to Kotaku.

Cliff Bleszinski, the mastermind behind the Gears of War franchise, has not announced when the heavily anticipated Gears of War 3 will be released for the Xbox 360. However, the rumored release date for Gears of War 3 is April of 2011. It might not even be Gears of War 3 that they will be speaking about on Late Night. Gavin Purcell, the producer of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, stated that Bleszinski will make an appearance and chat with the show’s host, although it is not clear what they will be talking about.

Edge reported earlier this month that a trusted US publishing source told them that Gears of War 3 will be hitting shelves in April of 2011. The same source also told Edge that a debut teaser would be shown on April 8th, the same date that Bleszinski will be appearing on Late Night. All of this ties in together, perfectly, as Mark Rein, the Epic Vice President, once told G4TV that his company would not release any games this year.

Gears of War 3 is going to be released on April of 2011 and will be officially announced within a week. It is rumored that Epic Games will be going back to its roots by making the game do Gears of War, the original, justice and sticking with more of the hardcore action and while also giving some of the more strategic players something more to look forward to. A perfected version of the leveling system is expected to be put into place as well as full customization of the characters, picking the gritty color of your armor, your facial features and more.

So you can look forward to Gears of War 3 being announced some time later this week.
