Four Reasons To Play Bayonetta

Bayonetta

Bayonetta

Bayonetta, directed by the creator of Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe, is one of his latest games that made its way to the Xbox 360. On first sight, this game may seem like nothing more than a perverted gamers dream video game, but it actually has more depth than it leads on to have.

I’ll start off with a simple reason. For those of you who are fans of games with great graphics, then you should really look forward to playing this video game. Bayonetta has great graphics, as is to be expected of a game of this caliber on the Xbox 360. Along with the great graphics, the music is also tasteful, for this style of art in the video game. It seems that the music in this game is much more classical, which so happens to be exactly of my taste. The music is played in a way that ramps up and depicts the epic emotion going on in the current fight scene.

The gameplay is one of the obvious reasons that you should play this. Knowing that the director of this game is the same one that worked on Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry should be enough. On top of a robust combo system that allows you to chain up dozens of combos, there is also a dodging system. When you dodge, you get some sort of bullet time effect where time slows down and you will be able to quickly execute your combos with deadly accuracy. You have the option of using both swords and guns. You are also able to kill an enemy and use his weapon, the gameplay of this video game is certainly top notch.

You play a female character, which I know is good enough to get many people to play it. Your character is a sexy and erotic woman with glasses, that loses her clothing as she casts some spells. Why does she lose her clothes, you may ask? Well, apparently her magic is linked to her hair, and she uses her hair as clothing for her body. So when she uses magic, such as a giant foot crushing her enemy, you lose your clothing. To be honest, as low as this may sound to some of you, this is a pretty creative feature that I actually have come to respect. If not for humor, it does add an added enjoyment while playing this game.

The reason before is another great reason to play this game. How creative and original it is, is quite the selling point for this video game. On top of the fact that I hardly ever play a video game where I star a woman as the main character, but this is an actually entertaining game that seems to have been created with the mindset of the male gamer at heart. The story of this video game as well as the character is very original, and will certainly appease those who are looking for a new experience within a game.

All in all, Bayonetta is a video game well worth buying. It is very action packed and certainly on par with action games such as Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry. If you are looking for a new action game to play, be sure to buy Bayonetta.
