Final Fantasy XIV Beta Application Information

Final Fantasy XIV

Final Fantasy XIV

Square Enix has allowed for the release of Final Fantasy XIII over here in the west this week, and it has been fairly acceptable. For gamers who are now beginning to await the next in the series, being Final Fantasy XIV, you will have to make an application for the beta.

However, the beta testing is sort of biased towards PlayStation 3 owners. You will be required to own the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIII in order to apply. Gamers can register the serial number located on their copy of FFXIII in order to receive a chance at the beta for the upcoming Square Enix mmorpg Final Fantasy XIV, as well as an exclusive in-game item. This is fairly good news for those who are planning on getting the game, and is actually a selling incentive for the game now.

In order to enter the beta test, you will have to fill out a fairly long application, which asks the general questions such as internet speed, router info, any MMOs you have played before and whether or not the player have been guild leaders before. Gamer swill be chosen for the FFXIV beta based on the answers they provide, so it is not guaranteed that every player who applies will actually get an invite. But, every PS3 customer will definitely be getting an in-game item.

This is fairly great news, because Final Fantasy XIII has had quite enough hype on its own, so the fact that gamers will be rewarded for their loyalty and interest in the series is pretty satisfying. Be sure to redeem your serial number in order for a chance at the FFXIV beta.
