Final Fantasy XIII’s Grandeur, Fable III Gameplay Mechanics at GDC

Final Fantasy XIII
The Game Developers Conference is coming up next month, and some sessions for Final Fantasy XIII and Fable III have been spotted for schedule.
Motomu Toriyama, the Final Fantasy XIII director and scenario writer, will be attending the session and explaining the process he takes in imagining the magical and vast world of FFXIII, as well as the character design and development. His session, titled “The Crystal Mythos and Final Fantasy XIII”, will also speak about what he hopes to achieve with his future projects. While this is great news, because we all know how big and amazing that video game will be, where is the news concerning FFXIII Versus that fans have been dying for. Just a snippet of gameplay from this highly anticipated video game would easily quell thousands of fans, while starting up some hype for it.
Fable III will also be addressed by Peter Molyneux of Lionhead Studios and Josh Atkins of Microsoft Game Studios. This video game, being of of the best rpgs available on the Xbox 360, is certainly highly anticipated, maybe due to the “creative touch” that Molyneux leaves on each game of the series. He wills peak about changing a long implemented game mechanic that Lionhead will try to replace with a more modern and user friendly implementation. Some fans scoff at this remark saying that he will only end up overly dulling a gameplay element that will be sure to offend or annoy some of the hard core gamers out there.
These are just two of the games that are set to be revealed, or at least detailed in some manner, at the Game Developers Conference of 2010. Be sure to stay tuned for the GDC 2010 coverage on Sleepy Gamers that will occur from March 9th to March 13th.
