Fight Night Round 4 DLC removed from Xbox Live Marketplace

Fight Night Round 4
EA Sports released their Fight Night Round 4 DLC to the Xbox Live community on this past Thursday, titled the Champions Pack 2. However, users have been complaining of freezing issues while trying to acquire it, so EA has taken the DLC down until the fixes can be done.
A community manager said that their goal is to re-release the Champions Pack 2 before Christmas. Naturally because it would most likely be able to sell quite a bit of titles due to the gift giving nature of the holiday, heh. However, for those gamers who managed to download the content, you are able to play the content as you wish, but the locked items will remain so until the updated version is released.
So in the official statement by EA, they said that they decided to take the DLC down from the Xbox Live market place until the issue is fixed. Then they will place a proper Champions Pack 2 back into place in the future. This fix will take more than a couple of days due to approval requirements. Then apologies were given for this “unforeseen” problem that occurred within the DLC, and it is hopeful that the DLC will be back in place for the holidays.
This sounds like a case of poor product quality on EA’s part. It is becoming more apparent that some companies are just using the gamers as a way to beta test what is supposed to be retail content. This is a pretty aggravating thing, and it ruins a companies credibility if this becomes too frequent. I am not saying that EA does this all the time, but I am saying that they should make sure that their product has top quality next time around.
