A list of Earthworm Jim HD achievements were released, concerning the Xbox 360 version. This list hints toward a multiplayer mode of some sort. There is one achievement that is given to those who are number 1 in each of the Xbox Live multiplayer levels, and the other for completing all of the multiplayer levels.
It is pretty hard to imagine the multiplayer for a retro-remake of Earthworm Jim. It is a 2d side scrolling game, after all. Maybe the multiplayer levels would simply have you compete in terms of completion times and what not. Or possibly a set of levels created solely for the difficulties that multiplayer may come to offer. Whatever it is, this is great news for all former and future Earthworm Jim fans, and you should definitely be on the look out for this game.
