Conduit 2 Delayed Until 2011, Avoids GoldenEye

Conduit 2 and GoldenEye, both two of the most anticipated upcoming shooters on the Wii, were both slated for release on November. However, Sega and High Voltage are deciding to delay the Conduit sequel until the first quarter of 2011, they tell Nintendojo.
They did not give a reason for the delay, but it is likely that Q1 2011 offers a better release window for the Wii shooter. With such a high profile and high demand game such as GoldenEye to compete with, you cannot really blame for Sega wanting to play it safe. It is highly likely that releasing the same day as this titan of a classic would only result in poor sales and ruined potential for this popular Nintendo Wii game.
Conduit 2 has been delayed until the first quarter of 2011, and hopefully, this will allow for Sega to see better sales with this sequel.
