Bungie Update: Jet Packs and Armor Lock for Halo Reach Multiplayer

Halo Reach
A couple of days ago, Bungie made an update that gave more information on what was shown in the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta trailer last month. Load Outs, Jet Packs and the Armor Lock mode have been detailed.
Load Outs that were briefly displayed in the prior video now gets a fuller explanation. Before a math starts, or during respawn, the Load Out screen displays where you can choose an Armor Ability, primary and secondary weapons along with a grenade cache, with the choice list that is decided by the playlist or game type.
This means that for some playlist, every Load Out features the same weapon sets with only the Armor Abilities able to make one unique, while others may mean as the game goes on, you can have more choices based on changeable factors such as number of kills etc, Bungie says. So you will not be creating your own Load Out to bring to Matchmaking, but you will be making it as you play eat match and gametype. A feature that I believe was placed into the game with the intention of balancing things out, to prevent a player from having a specific Load Out that works for every map.
The Armor Lock abilities is one of the armor abilities, along with active camo, jet pack and sprinting. The Armor Lock is an invulnerability mode that comes with its share of drawbacks. While activating it, it prevents you from being damaged by grenades, projectiles and vehicle attacks, but you can not move at all. It is also quite the loud ability, with the constant energy crackling noises going about, you expose yourself to everyone in the near area. When the field drops, you release an EMP burst, with a size and area of effect that depends on its time of use.
The rest of the updates detail the other abilities and weapons. The Dedicated Marksman Rifle and the Magnum are five-shot kill weapons. Assassinations and vehicle information are also spoke of in the updates. Halo: Reach is shaping up to be one of the best games in the series so far, with many fans and ex-fans increasingly becoming interested in all of the new features being added. The Halo: Reach multiplayer beta starts May 3rd.
