Best Combat In An Mmorpg

When people usually speak of their favorite mmorpg that provides the best combat available, people usually mention the same five games. Maybe because they are huge successes and it is known by a wide audience of people, maybe just because it is all they know of. But there are a couple of hidden gems in the mmorpg world that certainly offer some of the best combat in an online game, and to top it off, they are free.
My top and favorite mmorpg of all time is quite simply Return of Warrior (Also referred to as Risk Your Life). That game is not your average point and click online game, as many others are. It offers wsad keyboard movement. That alone makes the game a bit more enjoyable, but the major thing that made the combat in this game so amazing to me is how it was presented. There are two major races you are able to be, the akhans and humans. These two factions, which is what I will call it in this post, generally reside in different lands, until you get to a certain level and you have to start training on the same map.
When ever you encounter someone of another race, you are automatically able to commence into battle with them, which offers a spontaneous opportunity for player versus player. So besides the fact that you always need to be on your toes for enemies you may encounter while training, you also have the ability to upgrade your skills into something quite amazing, especially for the Rune-Officiators and Mages of the game. At the end of the game, they will be able to conjure up giant ice storms and fire tornadoes that is generally larger than the scope of the whole computer screen, and deals area of effect damage, making them look impressive. Which brings the next point being that this game also offers race wars, where the humans fight the akhans for domination of a pvp map. So imagine the first time you join, and you see one mage first use a skill to trap a party of enemies, and then conjures a fire tornado that takes out five or more akhans. That is a sight that I am all too familiar with, that I enjoy quite a lot.
The one downside I had with this game is the constant grind to level up. But besides that, this game had the best pvp system I have ever encountered, it was basically perfection. If you are a person who is a fan of intense player versus player action, you should definitely make sure you get around to playing this. Return of Warrior possibly has the best combat that you will be able to find in an mmorpg in present day terms.
