Batman: Arkham City Multiplayer Confirmed

Batman: Arkham City
Recently revealed in PSM3 magazine, Batman: Arkham City will certainly feature a multiplayer mode. The game is still a year away and many details are still unknown, though.
According to PSM3 magazine, multiplayer is a certainty, but there are no details on this yet. Multiplayer does not necessarily mean a deathmatch sort of mode, as many players are worried about. This could indicate a co-op mode where a second player assists you throughout the story as a side character such as Robin or Catwoman. This comes at a time when rumors were buzzing about of Catwoman being a playable character in co-op mode, which makes this seem all the more possible.
Many fans of the game are worried that they will be placing too much emphasis on the multiplayer portion and too little emphasis on the single player portion. The single player campaign of the last game was nothing short of amazing and players want an even stronger campaign than before. Rocksteady sure has their work set out for them, because this will be one of their first endeavors in the multiplayer field.
Rocksteady has not made any promises for when they will reveal further information about Batman: Arkham City’s multiplayer aspect, but once they do, I’ll be sure to cover it.
